How does it work?

Complete Plan members pay $0 copayments for Tier 1 (preferred generics) during Stage 1, Stage 2, and Stage 3 (Coverage Gap). During Stage 4 (Catastrophic Coverage), members pay whichever is greater – 5 percent coinsurance or $2.25 for a Tier 1 (preferred generic) drug.
Enhanced Plan members and most MAPD plan members pay $0 copayments for Tier 1 (preferred generics) during Stage 1, and Stage 2. During Stage 3 (Coverage Gap) members pay 100 percent until the yearly out-of-pocket drug costs reach Stage 4. During Stage 4 (Catastrophic Coverage), members pay whichever is greater – 5 percent coinsurance or $2.25 for a Tier 1 (preferred generic).
